Hey Guys, I'm doing a bit of charity work and i've gathered some old equipment to put on a disco for the kids, i need to connect AMP to EQ,
The Amp has
Phono L+R in,
Tuner L+R in,
Aux L+R in,
Tape 1 L+R Play & Rec in/out,
Tape 2 L+R Play & Rec in/out.
The Equaliser has
Equaliser L+R input/output [Play] & [Rec]
Tape L+R Play & Rec in/out
I want to be able to have the Phono,Tuner,Aux all utilising the Equaliser, is this possible with the connections i have.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum! First, that's very good of you to put on a disco for the kids. I bet that they really enjoy it.

I believe that you can have it working the way that you want. If I understand it correctly, you'll want to connect the Equalizer L/R inputs to the amp's Tape L/R Rec Out jacks, and connect the Equalizer L/R outputs to the amp's Tape L/R Play In jacks. This is assuming that you have a tape monitor function on that amp...I haven't found that info, yet.

The info that I found on the Pioneer A6 integrated amplifier only shows one set of tape inputs and outputs, not Tape 1 and Tape 2. Just want to verify - you're sure that you have both? If so, then I've found pictures and info of the wrong unit (called "Pioneer A6").
