Connecting Music streamer to AVR

Hi,

I need advice on connecting the CXV v2 to Arcam 390. Which option is better. Or any other suggestions.
Option 1. - connect RCA out of CXN to arcam analog in and use stereo direct in Arcam ( with this I won’t be able to use the Sub). Connect Pre out of FL and FR to maranta 7055.
Option 2 - Connect to stereo amp CXA81 (would be additional purchase). Would be able to use the Sub as CXa has sub out.

I’m pretty sure the Arcam does everything the Cambridge does and more. I’m completely baffled by what you’re trying to accomplish?

Hi, I was told that cxn provides better DAC, I am not getting good SQ from tidal via Apple 4K. Review too suggested CXN would provide better SQ for tidal than Apple 4K. I looked at the incoming sample rate in Arcam which is at 48kHz from Apple TV. Sportily which is inbuilt in Arcam, I get 96kHz.

The Arcam is excellent as a streamer, CAT5 from router to AVR390 and control Tidal from your iPhone. The Cambridge won’t do anything other than waste $1,500. Just mail me $500 and I saved you a $1,000, amazing!

Thank you for the suggestion. I did connect the 390 using CAT5 to router and I don’t see the option to cast to 390 from iPhone for tidal. See option only to Apple TV.

Wow, I just read a little further into it and it looks like it doesn’t function on the AVR390. It did at one point but they cut support from their app, Arcam should probably take the mention of Tidal off the main page for the AVR390.

A bluesound node for the half price would work well
