Connecting LED TV, DVD Player & Craetive 4.1 speaker

Hello friends,
I would really appreciate if you could help me to connect my creative 4.1 speaker to my new LED full HD Tv, which i have recently purchased.
My TV has the following provisions
HDMI
Audio in (RGB/DVI)
Optical digital audio out
video/audio in ports
Creative speaker has audio in ports to connect both front and back speaker and subwoofer aswell.
My DVD player has the following provisions.
Optical out
audio video in and out
I'm sure it is not possible to connect my 4.1 to LED Tv as i have no digital audio out or optical port in my creative speaker.
The only option is connecting thro DVD player. I just wanted to know whether that is possible or not.
Pictures of all the ports (DVD player , speaker and TV) are attached along with this note.
Please help me in this regard.

Welcome to the forum, Sathish!

You aren't allowed to post images until you have five posts, so your pictures don't show up. However, from what you described, you're correct - you can't directly connect your Creative speakers to your TV. You would need a DAC (digital-to-analog converter) for that, and you'd need a DAC that decodes Dolby Digital.

You should be able to connect the DVD player, though. The only question for me is how many speakers in the Creative system will work with it. What are the model numbers of the DVD player and Creative speakers? If we know those, we might be able to find information about them ourselves and help you get everything hooked up.
