Greetings Forum.

I have browsed and learned quite a bit from reviewing many earlier forum questions, but I don't seem to see exactly my recorder model. So I'm writing to ask if anyone knows how to make this connection work?

Per the Panasonic instructions, I have connected the coax cable directly into DVD Recorder and then from there to the cable box and then into the HDTV. Everything works perfectly with one exception. When attempting to access Charter's "On Demand" feature, I receive an error code. Their technical instructions suggest that this is caused whenever the cabling is not done starting with the cable box first. So I'm wondering if there is a way to still make the recorder work while cabling from the cable box to the DVD recorder and then the HDTV?

In thanks for any insights,

Problem Solved

After more research, I was able to solve this on my own! I thought I'd post how I did it here in case anyone else runs into this:

The solution in the end was rediculously simple and suggested by how Panasonic suggested connecting a satellite! I directly connected the coax from the wall into the cable box and then ran another coax from the cable box to the DVD Recorder (rather than the other way around as directed by the connection guide). Everything works perfectly and the signal for all my cable services is now strong enough to work as well.
