Connecting an iPod/iPhone?

So I bought a cheap home theater that doesn't have any USB ports.
Is there any way I can connect my iPhone up to the home theater as I have songs and movies on it?
I have some movies that have surround sound. Will the surround sound still take effect or not?

You can use the headphone out as jonnythan pointed out with a minijack to rca cable. I have read that the line out is supposed to provide better audio but you may want to google around to see what you find on this; you could try one of these, http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L3-Line-Cable-iPhone/dp/B003UCESP8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1317590044&sr=8-1. Just make sure it works with your dock connector. I've been using one of these for a while and it works well. But this is a minijack connector and your system may not have a minijack input.

You need to use the specific cable for your model iPhone and model TV for this to work. Also it is not a exact mirror of your iPhone it uses only photo apps and video apps. Connect to TV: Connect iPhone to Your TV
