Connecting a HP Touchsmart PC to my home theatre

I am in the market for a new PC. I really want one as an addition to my current living room setup w/ media center capabilities. Im currently running component cable from my reciever to my plasma. I really have my eye on a HP Touchsmart Media Center PC. My concern is the only video output the pc has is Mini VGA. How can I get from Mini VGA to component cables into my reciever?

I realize im probably not going to be pumping HD by the time I get there but would the resulting display on my plasma still be acceptable? I was looking at a linksys media extender but im still missing how to get off of the mini vga output. Any recommendations are welcome including other Media Center PC's or help forums.

Thanks!

Strange to me that it uses mini-VGA, but so it does.

VGA-to-component cables can be had for cheap here. You might be able to find a mini-VGA to component cable or adapter, too, but you certainly can buy a mini-VGA to VGA adapter.

I honestly don't know the resolutions possible out of a mini-VGA port. Sorry.
