Connecting 2 Sub's

Is there some type of splitter for the sub output slot, so I can hook up 2 subs to my receiver? As my name suggests I am an absolute moron when it comes to all of this stuff. Thanks in advance for any help....

It's called a "Y" connector.

Generally, one male RCA plug to two female RCA jacks.

Available for a few megar dollars almost anywhere cables and adaptors are sold.
