I recently purchased a Philips Home Theater. I own a Sanyo TV and has a cable wire (not a cable box, just wire) connected to it. I want to hear my TV channels through the home theater system. Unfortunately my TV do not have a audio OUT which I can connect to the home theater.

Can any one please help to solve my problem?.

Thank you,
Seth.

VCRs typically have audio out and can tune cable channels easily. DVD recorders do as well. Or, you can pick up a cable tuner for not a lot of money online. (not illegal version)

Thanks for the reply. How does the cable tuner work?. Can I connect cable TV line into that and get audio out for my home theater system's audio in?

I bought an RF modulator from Wal-mart hoping that will solve the problem. But it is not splitting the audio signals for some reason.

Thanks,
Seth
