I recently purchased a Yamaha HTR-5740 receiver. I am very happy with the product when watching movies.
I also purchased an equalizer to "help" the reciever with highs and lows when listening to music on the radio and older CD's.
I cannot figure out how to utilize the EQ when I connect it to the Tape inputs and outputs. There doesn't seem to be a Tape Monitor function on this receiver. I've pored over the instructions but still haven't figured it out.
How are you suppose to Tape anything if you can't hear it?
Any help would be appreciated.
