I have a huge basement hall(25*50 feet), where I am planning to set this up.

My initial plan was to go with Yamaha rx-v675, monitor 70 front, monitor 60 rear and PSW10 sub(will upgrade to 505 soon) and CS2. Bought the speakers and sub already.

Newegg has rx-v573 for 288$ now. I am thinking about buying this receiver and upgrade the Sub now instead of upgrading leter.

Do you think the rx-v573 is capable of driving 2 M70 and 2 M60 speakers and 505 sub? Are these optimal? I am thinking that rx-v573 is inferior comparing with the speaker configuration.

Please help...

Thanks.

I think you are very, very lost betting on low end Polk "speakers" and very low end Polk "sub"
I thing you you return all them and start over with refub denon avr, pioneer 5.0 and a decent sub

Seriously, I have no life.
Welcome may be in order. :)

Now another question to you. Your room is very large. What are you planning to do with it, set up what?
Is this residential or something else? Front projection? How many seats for the family and friends if this is residential? Is it possible to wall off a part of this huge space?
Casual listening or serious with wall shaking results?
