Ok, I got some of my gear in, and am a bit confused now.

1.) The oppo DVD player does not have an HDMI output. So do I just use a DVI - HDMI cable? And if so, does the audio travel over DVI to an HDMI source? or do I need to then hook up audio cables to the reciever?

2.) The cable box only has a DVI output as well, so the same question really. . .

3.) the emotiva has a HDMI switcher, so I can do hdmi to hdmi. but I guess who cares if it carry's sound. I have my Axiom M60's to do the work for me!

4.) The HSU Manual does not show a need for a coaxial or a Y cable interconnect. But the reccomended systems include those items. What do I need to connect my Emotiva up to the HSU VTF3 MK2?
Thanks

DVI is Digital Visual Interface and as such carries Video only. You can buy DVI->HDMI adapters or cables pre-made with DVI on one end and HDMI on the other end.

You will still need to make a digital audio connection from the dvd player and cable box to the receiver.
