Confused about Polk brands?

I've decided to purchase a set of Polk in-wall speakers for my home theatre system, but I'm a little confused about the various brands they offer. Unfortunately, there isn't a local distributor who has them setup, so I kinda need to go with the advice of others that may have heard them.

With that said, is there a discernible difference between the Polk RC, SC, TC and LC series? Which series is preferred most by audiophiles and why?

Also, what subwoofer should I pair with a Polk system?

Thanks,
Kelly

Hi Kelly.

Sign up here, http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/register.php and a whole bunch of people will help you find out how each different series does & is different from each other.

If I had to take a guess I would say that each series is an inwall alternative to each of the box speakers that they have.

I know that it is true for the RTI series = RCI series & the LSI series = LCI series.

As far as which is preferred is up to each individual ears. Most will tell you that the RTI series is really well suited for HT, while the LSI series is their top of the line & excels in all areas (with ample amounts of power) but exceeds all expectations when it comes to music.
