I'm in the process of reseaching options for running a media server through my TV. There's a computer input in the back of my TV which make connection easy except that the PC input doesn't allow the TV to use any of it's scaling modes which makes watching a movie or something like that slightly annoying. I have a dedicated DVD player so movie watching isn't a must but I'm trying to find a solution that will allow me to run the computer output into component video in on the TV. I found one device so far but I'd rather have an internal solution on the server instead of one more box. Here's the solution that I found.
