Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums here but it looked like a good place for audio advice!
I've got around a $2000 budget for an audio system for my computer. I'm looking for general suggestions to get the best bang for my buck. I'm looking for a 5.1 system used primarily for listening to music, playback of recordings from guitar / keyboard, and some gaming. Gaming would be the least important, but for $2000 I'd like that to sound great too!
So far what I've potentially scoped out is:
Sound Card:
AuzenTech Auzen X-Fi Prelude
Speakers:
I've never heard this set, just something I'm assuming would be very good. Your suggestions in this area will be very helpful. I know there are a ton of good speakers out there.
Klipsch Cinema 10 System
Receiver:
I'm not sure on this one either. I'm thinking Denon, Harmon Kardon, or Onkyo. I'm not real up to date on what's the best for the money these days so your suggestions appreciated!
Thinking potentially about this one: Harmon/Kardon AVR347.
I had links for all the gear, but it appears i need 5 posts before being able to put URL's in my post!
Thanks for your help and suggestions!
