Computer Audio Question

Ok, I ripped some old cd's with EAC, and now I can't find them. I ripped them with EAC and had it create a large file for the cd and then a cue file. I used nero to burn them for a while, but now nero is making me angry.

Anyway, I want to know, if I use a program to use the cue file to split the tracks into individual files, will there be any loss of quality or insertion of any unessesary dead space? thanks.

the cue file is just an "image" or a map for nero to follow ...
after burning, that 1 big file should be back to separate tracks.
