Component Video vs HDMI vs DVI

I was just wondering if anyone had a opinion on what video source gives you the best picture quality? In my own personal experience I could not really tell a difference in any of them. Is there really a difference?

I think it really depends on the TV and the source. I have seen good quality come from all three. For some TVs there just isnt a huge difference between Component video and DVI/HDMI. For my TV there is a noticable difference between Component and HDMI. So I use HDMI. :)

Assume the source and display are the same, I would doubt that you could tell one is "better" then another. In fact in my own opinion Component beats them...but thats just me

I first tried component with my new display, then DVI/HDMI. The HDMI was a dramatic improvement over component, but after going back and playing with the brightness/contrast/etc with my display (Using the Avia disc) I got a pretty good result, but I preferred the HDMI by a small margin. I think each combination of components with a given display is going to produce a wide range of results, so there's no easy answer.

I believe DVI or HDMI are superior if you have a fixed pixel display.
