Component Cables for PS2

I bout a set of component cables for my PS2 and wow, it figgin nice. Crystal clear gameplay. The problem is, now on the left side of the screen, there's about an inch of black, but the picture goes all the way to the right, and a little beyond.

I have a Sony widescreen
The settings on my PS2 are for 16x9 progressive. Don't know what the problem may be though.

i am having a tough time with my toshiba widescreen and my ps2 as well never seems quite right. but for your issue you can go in to the ps2 settings and at least center the image.

Oh really?? Didn't know that. Where abouts can I do that??

its in the main setup of the ps2 itself i believe. i could be wrong though you have to do it through the game itself. i know atv off road furry has that feature. when i get home tonight i will check it out and post. im going from memory and have not played in over a month.

Haha, did that game come with the PS2 cause I got ATV Off Road Fury 2 with mine.
