Complex setup - help please!

Hi all - need some advice.

After setting up my HT, I am planning to install some nice audio equipment in the living room. I have a largish living room - 1000sq ft, but the problem is that it is L-shaped. There are two distinct sitting areas and I want speakers in both areas rather than large ones in one area. The wife is averse to cabling running all over the place, and to some extent to full range speakers. My ideal setup is a CD player with an amp at one end, and maybe a wireless audio sender/receiver setup connected to powered speakers at the other end. Is this feasible? Are there products out there which will suit this setup?

Specifically, I am looking for ideas about

(1) What powered speakers to use...
(2) what bookshelfs will give me a good/decent response without needing a sub (if at all thats possible)
(3) what sender to use (how does the quality of sound degrade?)

Any help/thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks
T

You could use some inwall/inceiling speakers

Don't worry about sound quality because wireless is actually better than running cables. You have much more resistance (chance to lose signal) in a wire than over the air (as long as the signal doesn't need to go thru 5 thick concrete walls).

Thanks, but cant use in-wall or ceiling speakers as that would mean reconstruction of the ceiling - and I simply cant do that.

It would be great if some of you peeps could point me to the right products... I know they exist, somewhere... but have no idea where!

Alright.

Depending on your budget, I've heard that Axiom bookshelf speakers are one of the best for the money. Depending on your maximum size, the M3 or M22 could be wonderful. Just hang them in the top corners of your room or put them on tables (whatever suits you). I am myself going to axiom when my bank account will allow me.
