Complete Newbie needs direction on theater system w/ Projector

Hi,

I have set up some basic surround systems before but need help setting up a new system with a projector.

Here is what I am looking to do:

1. Set up a 5.1 surround system (might consider 3.1 if it made sense).
2. Hook it up to my projector that I am installing in my new theater.
3. The surround system needs to play audio from: Cable box, DVD player, N64 system (I know, classic), and a wireless bluetooth receiver (for streaming music).
4. If a 5.1 system, I want the rear speakers to be wireless to make install easier. (I might be willing to wire rear speakers if the price was right).
5. Ideally I'd like to be under $350 for a basic system but understand there are trade-offs for what I want.

For systems, I like the price and simplicity of the Vizio S4251w-B4. My issue with that is it looks like I would only be able to hook up one input at a time. It doesn't have a separate receiver for multiple inputs.

For a bluetooth receiver, I plan on going with the Homespot NFC Bluetooth Audio receiver, so I just need a simple RCA or 3.5 mm connection on the audio system.

My questions for you experts are:

I believe I only need to run HDMI from my cable box, and my DVD player to the projector to get that video, correct? The audio for any and all components does not need to run to the projector for any reason, right?

Can I use the Vizio system listed above, with a $200 receiver to hook up the other components? If not, is there a work-around for that?

If that Vizio system isn't the best one for what I am looking for, what would you recommend for a very simple inexpensive system for me?

I sincerely appreciate the direction and advice you can offer!!

Thanks for the info!

If I look around at other 5.1 systems, can I match them up to any receiver, even if it is a different brand? Is there any compatibility issues I need to be aware of?

I am a huge fan of the wireless rear speakers, to make the install easier and cleaner. If I had to have something with wireless rear speakers and a wireless sub (and I increased my budget), what would you recommend?

Can I hook up the Vizio S4251w-B4 with the receiver you recommended? I know I don't need a receiver for the Vizio to work, but to have other input options I am wondering if I can hook a receiver up to that?

Thanks so much!
