There are a couple of issues involved in whether or not you can use another receiver with those speakers. First, what is the impedance of the speakers? If they are 8 ohms, then the impedance will work with practically every receiver. But another concern is the frequency response of the speakers. With surround receivers, typically one uses a subwoofer for the deep bass, and upper bass on up goes to the other speakers. Now, if those satellite speakers go low enough for typical receivers, then you should be fine. I am not familiar with the specific model that you have, but most surround systems in a box have speakers that leave a lot to be desired, so replacing them is probably a good idea if you can afford it. If you cannot, then you can probably get away with using them with another receiver, but do check the impedance (which usually is printed on the back of speakers, and often is printed in the manual).
