I am a new home theater enthusiast and this may seem like a silly question, but I recently acquired four Sonance Professional Series PS-P83T pendant speakers. They are primarily used for commercial use. They are 70V/100V/ with an 8 Ohm bypass. Would I be able to use these speakers as overhead channels for Dolby Atmos application? Can I connect these to an external amp connected to my Denon AVR X6300H?

I don't see why they wouldn't work...should function the same as an on ceiling speaker imo.

Ok cool. It has a transformer connected and it’s tapped at 60w, 30w, and 15w, but it does have an 8 ohm bypass selector so I guess I’ll be good to go with hooking it up to my AVR.

When you said they were 8 ohms I felt like they should be fine...neat looking speakers.
