I am so fustrated. I can't seem to get this calibration correct for my new LCD....... I have tried the THX calibration found in the neno DVD but my colors are still all messed up. Watching TV some channels are very red and some seem dull and dark.... need help!

It could just be the channels; every CBS station I have ever seen has had pretty heavy red push, for example.

How do DVDs look?

Your calibration for a DVD has little to do with the calibration for broadcast television since your cable and your DVD are two different sources. If the display only saves one setting, then you will have to calibrate to a level that looks good for most things that you typically view. My display allows different settings and I have one for cable, one for Blu-ray and one for SD DVD because each of them look different.

I calibrated my PZ77U with an Avia II disc and thought I was done. How would I calibrate for SDTV and HDTV coming out of a STB. And here I thought I was all done. I even went the extra and calibrated my standard setting for day and cinema setting for night.
