Very interesting. I would be interested in seeing a version of this that includes "pagan" religions as well. I'm fascinated with ancient cultures and would like to see our current understanding of the spread and timeline of these religions as well. Thanks for the find.

P.S. A small aside, but you would think that a map showing the growth and spread of major religions of the world would not use the christian suffix of A.D. as opposed to the most current non-religious system of B.C.E. (before common era) and C.E. (common era). These years line up with the christian calender but I just found it interesting that the creator of this map went to all the trouble to research everything in a non-biased form just to add a biased dating system.
