Class action for Integra Research?

I know this is old news at this point, but I still can't believe that Integra Research is stiffing the RDC7 owners. Has anyone been able to get them to honor the "future-proof" claim of the RDC 7?

OK, it may be time to take off the gloves on getting this upgrade from the RDC 7 to RDC 7.1. Has anyone looked into a class action lawsuit for this? I would like to know how many people are interested before I go to a lawyer. I just need responses to this thread at this point, I will follow up later if we get a critical mass.

Just for historical purposes, has anyone rec'd an upgrade through Integra Research, and if so, how much did you pay? I haven't gotten any response in the last year and before that I was only told that the RDC 7 would still have upgrades. I haven't seen one in over a year.

There is a whole lot about the audio/home theater industry that is absolutely ripe for class action filings. Limiting product warranties to product purchased only from approved retailers has my attention. Price fixing (aka manf approved pricing) is another. Lack of a warranty repair facility in this state is one that applies to Integra Research.

If you want to make a lot of noise, class action is a way to do it. If you want compensation, just filing a suit will likely get a settlement for you if there is any merit at all to your claim.

Interestingly, the day i put this thread out here, i got a call and an email from Integra Resesearch saying that there would be details of a trade within 30 days. We'll see if they follow through, but it is at least movement.

And today, I got another email saying that we were closing in on a trade in announcement, within a week......

Finally got the upgrade announcement today, $2000 plus any modules you want. Half price, but still not what I was hoping for.

Still costs less than the CA suit you wanted to bring, plus saved you the disappointment of the $4.26 you would have taken home if you would have won!

True, but the only reason i even posted the idea was to see if they watched the forums, and I did get a response the day after i posted this!
