gene Audioholics Master Chief Administrator Aug 6, 2004 #2 Is this a joke or are you for real? Class A amps are far too inefficient (25% or less) for high power applications such as a subwoofer. In addition, the higher linearity of such amps are not necessary for subwoofer applications.
