A fine indie movie - City Island, in which a NYC Correctional Officer with a secret ambition runs headlong into the secrets of his family. It's well plotted, funny and full of enjoyable dialog, a Greek tragedy with a happy ending. Andy Garcia is excellent and it was filmed on location in City Island with lots of local color. After several movies that turned out to be dogs, I really enjoyed this one.
