Saw this one yesterday with the wife. Meh. I'd give it a B-- or maybe a high C+.

The title confused me until we saw it. What the hell does a chronicle have to do with 3 teenagers getting super powers? I guess it comes from the fact that the main kid buys a video camera and starts video taping his life. I guess that's the Chronicle.

Anyway decent flick. Some of the CG was pretty cheesy though. I guess they didn't have the budget to make all of the effects look super realistic.

Side note, the matinee price was $8!!! Geez, I remember when matinees were like $2.

Some theaters have an even have a cheaper price on the first showing of the day. I try to go to those showings myself.
