My 3910 in pal has a chroma delay problem. Bought it back to the store and checked out another.. same problem, tried a 2910 and yes same problem. (same board)

Denon Australia are aware of this problem that the DVD 3190 has this issue with Pal Zone 4 (after the owner rang Denon) and YES and firmwire upgrade to solve this prob is about 2- weeks away.

Check with a colour dvd or THX optimizer and the problem is with green and magenta you will notice a bleeding

No issues at all with NTSC.

Chroma delay, is self explainatory- Color has a delay in coming on, you get a black and white picture first then the color pops on.

Superman, I am not totally familiar with this feature but, it looks like that adjustable chroma delay is a feature on the Denon DVD-3910 Canadian model that allows you to adjust chroma delays thru the menu or a potenziometer (open for comments on this), look at the specs:

An Australian firmwire upgrade to rectify the problem has been issued. I took my 3910 to Denon's recommended repairer and within a few hours picked it up.
No more chroma delay. The picture is awesome as it should be.
