What did you get for Christmas this year?
So far, I got a Canon A590, and some snowmobile gear, and traded PSB's for a Technics SL-1200M3D.

Santa got me a new Movado and gave me the go ahead to order my new receiver a (Yamaha HTR 6190). This was a verrry good x-mass except for the fact our children woke up 6.30am to tell us Santa was here:eek: :). Oh... well.

Best wishes to all of you guys, Bill:)

So, what stuff did you fellas wind up getting this year? Wife and I cut budget to $100 this year and spent the rest on salvation army tree kids, but I still got some goodies. My wife's gotten good at finding good prices.

Wife bought me Bose in-ear headphones... which surprisingly sound VERY nice. Midbass production is excellent, imo. Imaging is spot on. Timbre is pretty neutral if not a tad warm (which I like). I'm pretty happy. Plus, she managed to shop around and only paid $70 for them. She's a-learnin. :)

Also got Transformers BD and this poster:

I'm psyched on the poster! :D

Bought the puppies a couple squish toys and some candy cane rawhides, lol.

Wife got a purse and some shoes.

I got nothing of interest here, but I did spend $40 to get my sister a pair of YUIN PK3 earbuds. I was going to get her the Bose in-ears for the name and the bass. But she needs to learn what real hi-fi sound is. The yuins trash the bose in almost every aspect except for comfort.

I also have $200 to spend on myself. Of course its gonna be audio equipment. Im thinking about getting a pair of "party" speakers that I can crank and not care about damage. Im looking for some old Bose 901s or Sansui SP-X9000 but cant seem to find them at the right price. Ill just wait:)

The Hannukah/Christmas haul was nice this year, lots of "smaller" presents...

Bunch of BDs- WallE, Indiana Jones 4, Coming to America, Tommy Boy (last 2 are part of inside jokes from the wife, John MAyer Live, and a ~$35 credit to BB for returning a duplicate.

Also received books, clothes, and a beautiful set of customized cufflinks my wife bought from an artist (I love collecting cufflinks!).

I also get to share in the couple of Wii games that my wife got from her parents :D.

The lady made out VERY well from me... bought her one of the brand new MacBooks :)

Happy Holidays to all!

I'm opening my gifts later on today at my Aunts (More convenient for all the family) but my stocking had the usually stuff (Movie passes, body wash/Hygiene products, Tea filter for raw tea, chocolate, new powered toothbrush). I asked for money this year so I could pick up a Blu Ray player. The Panny 55 will be purchased tomorrow, along with the 3 Blu Rays deal. Futureshop has some wicked Boxing day sales, including energy C-100s for $79 bucks (pair!). Plus my DPS-12 is on sale for $299, but I won't buy another sub par subwoofer. We'll have to see if I cave and pick them up tomorrow or not.

Well, I know what the teenager 3 houses down got...

BOOM... BOOM, BOOOM...

I've seen him and some others leaning on the trunk, holding the license plate down, looking under the car, ... welcome to rattles, fellas.
Part of me wants to walk over there and ask what they got, but I also don't want them to think I have anything in my car. Been doing a good job of keeping low key in my neighborhood.

I got to have my parents out here for the holidays, and spoke to both brothers. Good enough for me. My parents also got me some small presents and some cash (always welcome :)), which was very nice of them.

With the new floors, I'm still thinking about what sort of cover I'm going to put down so that Niki can have a nice rabbit dinner for Christmas. Oh, baby - she's going to like that!

My son got me an Air Hogs flying winged guy that's pretty cool - it flys by flapping its wings. I got myself a Dish 211 HD receiver and added the external hard drive mod (500g) to make it a DVR. Excellent image quality both on my Panny 42PX80U and the Optima HD70. I like getting myself presents. :D
