Choosing a Networking reciever

Hi,

I am in the process of buying a 7.1 or 7.2 networking reciever and looking for a bit of suggestion and/or advice. My goal is to be under $1,000 and i'm not sold on HDMI 1.3 or 1.4 as i do not have a 3D TV.

I've looked at:

Denon 3311CI , 3310CI , 991 and 990

I'm not biased to Denon, but have always heard good things.

Any help or suggestions on additional brands to focus on would be great.

I've been looking at receivers alot lately but at a much lower price point. I have found a good deal on a networking receiver that is similar to the onkyo 807 and you could maybe save some cash and get a similar performance as you would from the denon.

Its an onkyo RC180 for $420

It only has one hdmi output however, but seems to be a good deal at that price refurbished.
