Sister-in-law needed some new speakers to replace her ancient Boston book shelf speakers. After a few beverages, I decided to make her some Tritrix for Christmas. Spent more time on the finish than building the boxes and crossovers

Unfortunately, I had to procure my finish from the local gentleman's club. Wife wouldn't allow me to me to shoot any big cats

you love the 2 dead endangered animals as well? I'm not a fan of any picture celebrating shooting endangered species. I'm far from an environmental nut, but that seems over the top to me. Disgusting IMO, not that I think it was posted with any malice whatsoever.

Those cats are just sleeping and he is guarding them so no one awakens them...

Thats the world we live in, people hunt things for sport, it sucks, but ignoring it doesnt prove anything, closing your eyes to it makes it worse, just a picture, Im not the hunter or the photographer... you have to admit The dog is cute...

Brian If it makes you feel better that pic is probably 30 years old and everyone in it is most likely dead by now, or really close... and Im sure if their is a god, he didn't die a comfortable death..

Sorry to derail the thread, pictures like that will upset me a lot more after a bottle of wine and I knew you posted it with the best of intentions, tipsy Brian just has a bigger soft spot for animals than sober Brian, which is saying something.

Speakers look great and what a phenomenal upgrade they will make. Awesome gift idea and not just something store bought, making them that much more meaningful.

Thanks guys. She was almost speechless when she saw them this morning. Had them set up in the garage playing the Canadian Brass Christmas CD (rather loud) wit big red bows tied on them. She went to investigate and found them.

Unfortunately, she managed to talk me into swapping my Onkyo SR600 garage receiver for her 20 year old Yamaha.

Disclaimer: No animals were harmed during this speaker build. However, numerous cold frosty beverages were brutally devoured by the speaker builder once the table saw was put away.
