It's not what you think, Get your mind out of the gutter.

I'm looking for a cherry center channel speaker, any suggestions, comments, or deals going on??/

I'm intrested in polk audio's csi-5 it's price around 200$ but im willing to pay...hmmm....I guess 200-300$.

I was told for a good movie experiance not to go shabby on the center channel.

If you fell your non cherry speaker excells fell free to post it

What kind of speakers do you have for your left and right mains? It's important to get a center channel that blends well with them sonically (eg. from the same manufacturer).

my Polk LSi Center is not cherry. Polk doesn't do Cherry for the LSi Center (sux IMHO).

But what you have heard about not skimping on the center speaker is the best advice around.

I love my LSi Center. Great speaker. As good, or maybe even better than the LSi 9's that I have for the mains.

But regardless of what center you get, timbre matching, and tweeter alignment with the main's is very important.

Currently I have R30 but plan to use them as surround speakers. I like how cherry looks and favor polk audio. no clue on what kind to get for right and left fronts

Well, since Polk doesn't make a Cherry Finished Center, you're kinda SOL if you wanna get an all Polk system. What's your budget on your front 3 speakers? You might want to look into Paradigm, Axiom, Athena, B&W, PSB, and Def. Tech. What do you plan on getting for mains? Tower speakers? Bookshelves?

I like Polk Audio, the speakers sound great to me, have a good warranty, great service, and exceptional stylin.

Get this... I found a Polk csi-3 for 130$ at electronicsexpress.com.
When I called to order they said they sold out.....In JULY
Bait and Switch... they still keep the add posted as a closeout.

I read at polk audio's website that the csi3 matches with most of polk's speakers.

I like them but I look at movies in the dark so looks dont matter that much to the movie experiance.

hence my LSiC works pretty good. And since it is hidden in the TV rack, I don't even notice the color of the walls.
