LM317T's are quite reasonable.

You might want to be a little more specific.

monster avs 200, furman ar1215, tripplite lcr 2400 anything along those lines. If there's cheaper out there I'm looking for it.

What are your problems that you want solved with one of these components?

I have not used the Monster AVS2000, but I have used both the Furman AR1215 and Tripplite LCR2400. Both work like champs maintaining a steady 120 volts while every light in the house flickered and went dim during any of the numerous thunderstorms we have during Washington DC summers. I've have had both powered through an ART403 power supply/surge suppressor. The ART 403 has both ammeter and voltmeter. A Monster HTS5000 was connected between components and either the Furman AR1215 or the Tripplite LCR2400. I was able to watch the incoming volts dive way down, the incomming amps jump way up and the analog voltmeter on the HTS5000 not even flicker.

Now the caveats. The Tripplite is noisey and the Furman is very quiet. When I say the Furman is quiet, I mean quiet like seeing 100 volts incoming and 120 outgoing and not even hearing a hum from the AR1215. And when I say the Tripplite LCR2400 is noisey I do not mean you'll see or hear a lot of static, but you will hear the LCR400 clicking a lot and loudly as internal switches are opened and closed as the unit tries to maintain the correct output voltage. But hey, most of the time, the clicks are drowned out by the thunder anyway.

I saw this on APC's web site. It says automatic voltage regulation to safe levels, but not specifically to 120v. Anyone familiar with this product?

http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=LE1200

I have 3 computers, an lcd tv, my ht, cable box, and ps2 in the basement, plus the lights. I run all but 1 computer at the same time, needless to say the lights dim when the bass hits, so I hope something like this will fix the problem. I have a monster 3600, and the reading on the front panel is a trip to watch go up and down.
