How would system sound with Main speakers ...Center....Sub......Rear turned off????? I really have a crappy system Just can't seem to get those rear to sound any good The system is a sherwood with decent speakers and I use most for TV....Really don't want to spend any money!!!

Try a dsp mode like 5.1 stereo, where all the speakers play at similar spl's.

Thanks alot man! I have a JBL mini system.....I have replaced the front with a larger Energy speaker(2) The rear still has the 2 small JBLs...I just don't seem to hear the rear very well........Even when adjusting the speaker to #13......15 being the top adjustment....I just bought 2 Larger JBLs and will put the energy speakers on the rear..................Will this help surround??? Oh yes I have a wharfedale center(GREAT)...The tuner is 500 watts...............
