Cheap Sub for Shelf Stereo System

Hi,

I am looking for a cheap sub for a micro shelf stereo system for a spare bedroom that I use for my music room. This will be used mostly for music, but I will watch some DVD's, but only with a 2.1 system. I am looking to spend no more than $200. I won't be using this at loud levels-just above loud conversation levels.
I don't really have a place close to listen to anything but Sony's etc.

I do have a HSU VTF III Mark II in my HT Room, but don't want to fork out the extra $100 delivered for a VTF 1 (as much as I love the HSU).

I also have an Altec Lansing 2.1 system for my PC that I really like, so I am not looking for a reference level sub, just something that sounds reasonably good.

I am looking at a Yamaha MCR ES 810 SL as the Shelf System.

Thanks,

On that budget I would recommend the Onix X-Sub.:)

Thanks,

There is a lot of positive talk on the forums about this sub, minus the waiting time.
