Changing Paradigms PDR 10's

OK Guys, I have recently changed my Floor standing Paradigm Phantoms to the Paradigm Monitor 9's. Now it is time to change my two PDR 10's.I really think that they have had their day.

They can’t play a good movie without bottoming out. I have realized that as you upgrade your system other things begin to fail. So that’s the situation with the PDR's.

I would like suggestions on what I can buy as new subs. I would rather get two tens as my current set up rather than a 12" or 15". My room dimensions are 10x12x9.

Let me know your suggestions.

Hey Fowl, did you have a budget in mind....?
Thats a pretty small room, and lots of subs out there would be more then ample.

For tons of output in a small room, the SVS SB12+ would provide tons of bass with a bunch of features for room integration as well...

Really small footprint, and output that will certainly impress.

Just one of many many subs out there, and I'm sure you will get plenty of suggestions..

**** Oh forgot to add, they have a special right now... *****

I applaud you for sticking with dual subwoofers. In the 10inch Category you can get a couple PB-10NSD's. I would email SVS, see if they could make a package deal for buying 2.

Thanks for the response, I was thinking about US$700.00 for the pair, but did not want to end up with another pair of subs that could not handle even the basic thump from good movies. Was watching the Matrix Reloaded last evening and there is a scene when Neo is Fightning the multiple Smiths and when he could not defeat them he flew away. That flying action generated low frequencies and the sub bottomed out. It is truly irritating.

I need a good pair of subs but would rather stay with 10" and also need two.
