Changing HK AVR-120 settings for Harmony remote

Hello,

I just bought a Harmony 670 remote and have it set up to my liking except for one thing I can't figure out.

Here is my setup. I have my DVD player and cable box both hooked up to my TV via HDMI cables, and each also connect to my Harmon Kardon AV-120 receiver via digital cables. The cable box with an optical cable, and the DVD player with a coaxial cable.

The volume is always controlled through the receiver. Regardless of whether I'm watching tv or a dvd, the source has to be set to DVD. But what differntiates the two is the Digital source setting. It needs to be moved to the Optical1 setting for watching TV or the Coaxial1 setting for watching a DVD.

What I'm trying to do is program my remote to learn all the settings so when I press the Watch TV or Watch Movie buttons, the settings are automatically adjusted. But I'm not able to get it to switch the digital sources between optical1 and coaxial1.

I have posted on another forum to see if its possible for the Harmony remote to be able to automatically change the digital source when i activate specific activities, but to this point no answer.

One thing I was thinking about was to program a macro on my HK remote, and then have the Harmony remote learn the maco and run it when I launch an activity. But i don't know much about programming macros on the HK remote. Does anyone know if its possible to create a macro that just changes the digital source to a specific setting? Like if I had one macro to change it to Optical 1 and another macro to change it to Optical 2?

I cant help much but what I did with my Harmony was to set up a secondary button under "sound" and added the control there. You can call them and they will walk you through what you are trying to do.
