Going a different route. I'm also ending up with the bluetooth adaptor for less than the 1018 would cost. I determined that the wait time for the receiver wasn't worth it.

The 663 does everything I need. Just a little less power...and a different chipset.

Excellent choice, I don't think you will notice the differnce in power at all, and the Yamaha has plenty of features.

Just curious. What source do you have that can take advantage of the bluetooth? PC? iPhone?

Just curious. What source do you have that can take advantage of the bluetooth? PC? iPhone?

I'm "future anticipating" at my household. I'll be getting a bluetooth adaptor for my pc. It'll be easier than running a wire through the house. They'll only be 10 feet apart with a wall in between. I'm not worried about the "line of sight" that the directions recommend.
