Would you have this book: Mathematical Circus by Martin Gardner? It's one of Scientific American's Mathemaical Emtertainments releases, issued in1979. It's discontinued but available used from Amazon. I have it, it's interesting and might also be for you.

Sorry to say I don't but know of Martin Gardner through his participation in SI (Skeptical Inquirer). I will look for it. I had some other books of his but not any longer, clearing out.
