They range from portable consumer electornics to larger AV products, but all are innovative in some way and piqued our interest. We'll try to do a new list each week until CES - by that time you should be ready for more "meat and potato" information and real pics which we'll deliver at the show. Without any further ado, let's get into Part 1 of this multi-part series...

CES 2007 wireless HDMI interest...

Clint, it will be nice if someone can cover the much anticipated wireless HDMI antenna from Omron with TZERO chipset technology that's going to be showcased there... that's what I was told. Omron developed the world’s first commercial polymer antenna for Ultra-Wideband targeted toward high-definition (HD) and other telecast quality video transmission applications.

Apparently, the product is supposed to be awesome and there many companies touting to incorporate this technology into their hardware. Any info on this will be cool... thx. :)

Gotta say that the camera you preview is really cool. We have a 10x optical zoom camera and it is about twice the size of the one you are showing. The big issue is the darn lens that is necessary to cover the optical zoom range in a small package - just can't do it.

Now, with two lenses integrated within the single small body it can be done! Very, very cool and a unique way to tackle a tough way of doing things.

Definitely let us know if you see any HDMI 1.3 gear out there other than the PS3 and XA2. :) And let me know if you need someone with a good camera on site to help you out. ;)

BMX - If you're there already and want to work with us - simply PM me and I'll get you my cell info. You can gather, hang out and post coverage with the rest of us... We might even take you out to dinner for your trouble... :)

I'll put you in charge of a particular area and you can gather info and pics to your heart's delight. The more the merrier. The only thing I can't do is get you into the Press Room (too late).

Look forward to hearing about Denon's new AV line featuring Realta scaling, 1080P support, HDMI 1.3, 32bit Deep Color support.

Please also ask if they are ever going to release a Pre/Pro?
And also when they will release a HD-DVD/Blu-Ray/DVD/SACD/DVD-A Universal player :)

No airfare? **pshaw!**

:) :D :)

Nah, I was just messin' with you Clint. I may be fortunate enough to get flown on someone elses dime to CEDIA next year, but if I do CES it is likely coming out of my pocket the whole way, so with my 5 week old in house (www.lucasvail.com) I'm not going anywhere for several months at least.

I do look VERY forward to the upcoming information though!

BMX - that's a cool site. You put a lot of work into it.

Where do you live? Land must be at a premium. Hopefully your neighbors are cool - they're on top of you! The bonus - it takes 10 minutes to cut your lawn.

The house looks great. Very nice foyer and kitchen. You should post more shots of your HT room. Looks great from what I can see of it.

Happy holidays to you and your family - especially with the new addition. I bet the grandparents are tickled pink and ready to spoil!

That would be cool if you could get together with the guys at AH and get some extra footage. Hey, a free dinner is a free dinner. ;)

I'm in the Washington, DC area... and land is at a crazy premium for new houses like what we live in. We may move to Phoenix where things are a little more realistic for home pricing. But, we got in right before prices really went insane so we aren't complaining to much right now. :)

The site itself is (pretty much) just the work of my wife. My site is www.bmxtrix.com which I haven't touched much due to the kids. Though I've got some other stuff I'm working on.

My theater shots suck right now and I don't have a dedicated home theater. I run it out of my family room which is actually really nice because we use it all the time. It's where we live, so we don't have to go anywhere to really enjoy it. But, I recently repainted and am working on hiding cables/etc. so things look a lot better. I'll get some new photos up quick enough.

CES would be killer - and if I was going I would definitely be taking the AH guys up on the offer. It was cool to meet Gene and Clint at Cedia this year.
