The most noticeable difference between the CVHD Series and the competition stems from a uniform collection of satellite speakers. Neodymium magnets in the woofers and 1.25-inch treated silver Mylar tweeters provide definition and acoustic clarity. Each satellite incorporates a 1-inch soft dome tweeter and six 3-inch composite cone woofers housed in a highly damped polymer enclosure featuring a proprietary high frequency waveguide for improved acoustics. Claimed frequency response is 150 Hz – 22 kHz with the sub filling in the rest. Available now, the 5.1 system price is $999 and $699 for the 2.1 version.
