Centre Speaker Placement

Hi,

My centre channel speaker is placed on top of my tv cabinet, just below the tv which has been wall mounted.

It is currently placed in the middle of the cabinet and I have tilted it up slightly.

Would moving the centre channel so that it is flushed with the front of the cabinet be better of speaker placement of would this not make much of difference?

IMO yes. That’s how mine is as well. Try it! Then you’ll know for sure. I DO believe moving it to the edge will help intelligibility.

Is the speaker going to point below your ears? I would think an up tilt would be better if thats what it takes to aim it at your head.
