Center speaker with 40” lcd ontop securing ?

The center speaker is not as wide as the tv bottom so there has. Little overhang but it is stable has not showed any signs of falling .

About a 2-3” size difference

Gotta, I have a audio rack center, my 65 “ 4K UHD sits on top, the shelf below my center sits on that shelf, Than I have another audio rack just for audio/Video gear. Depending how wide and deep your center speaker is, just about any good Solid wood will do 1/4 to umm 3/8 “ tops or even if all you got is 1/2 it’ll work, with a pair of Walmart L Shaped Metal shelf supports will do. Should be no more than 10 bucks for the L supports some hand full of wood screws.
