Does anyone have any recommendations for a center speaker that can go lower than 80 Hz? My current center has and effective range to about 80 Hz.

Infinity maybe

I have an Infinity Beta setup and the C360 center says its supposed to go from 45 to 20k (+/- 3db) according to Infinity's website. I dont know if thats what it really goes down to being that I've never tested it alone, and I dont know how much room acoustics will affect a center, but I like it and I can vouch that it definitely goes to at least 60.

EDIT: I didnt notice at first you are running some Primus speakers but not for your fronts so I dont know how well the C360 would match those fronts but it will probably sound fine with the Primus.

I know they're not a super-popular brand, but Athena's C1 and C1.2 reach down to 60 Hz. My C1 sounds great to me.

cheers,

The Onix Reference 100 is a very good center, especially if you get the package price from AV123. I cross mine at 60Hz for optimal results.
This beats the larger Paradigm and B&W centers. If you are after sound quality, highly recommended.
