I'm looking to buy a center-channel for the system I got for christmas, and am currently looking at the Jensen C210 Champion Series 2-Way Center-Channel Speaker For $30, or the KLH 525 II Platinum-II 125-Watt Deluxe Center Channel Speaker for $50. I was wondering if anyone had other recommendations or experiences with either of these speakers. One thing though, is that since I'm 15 and don't have a job because school is in, my budget is very limited, around $70 is were I peak out at the moment, because I spent my christmas on money my subwoofer.

Thanks.

Edit - I was also wondering if these speakers are any good JBL E10 Bookshelf Speakers (thinking of using them for rear wall mount speakers)

Listen to them both, & see what you think. Without hearing them, I'd lean towards the KLH. But better than either, I'd look at the used market.

Mkay, I did a search through eBay for some center channel speakers and found:
Athena AS-C1-1 Audition Series Center Channel Speaker
Energy CC3 Center Channel Speaker

Any advice on those?

Those are far better speakers then KLH and jensen.

Only problem is they might not match with your other speakers.

If you were going to get those, I would recomend a full Athena or Energy setup.

I can't replace my current speakers because I don't have the money (only money from allowance) and, I don't really want to because they sound great. What would be a good choice for my current speaker setup in that case?

I don't know. I can't find your speakers anywhere.

What ever you like the sound of is what you should get. But Idealy you want to match all your front speakers.

That's because I got the company wrong, I went and asked my dad (he bought them) they're designed by Henry Kloss, but produced by Cambridge Soundworks.

Yo Squirrel... does this look anything like your speakers? It may be an older version, as I didn't see any "x2" designation... but maybe it's your speaker's immediate predicessor.

As you've already got Cambridge Soundworks speakers I think you should stick with their products for your center channel. That way you'll get better integration across your front soundstage and you won't notice a big change in tonal character when the sound pans from left to center to right (or visa versa).

You can check them out online at: http://www.cambridgesoundworks.com/store/category.cgi?category=0

By the x2, I meant I had two of them, sry bout that, in afterthought it is unnecessary.
But yes those are the ones I have. From what I've heard from my Dad's research (he did a ton of research into buying good speakers). Ya, I'll look through the Cambridge site, thanks.

Mkay, looked through the site, I can't really afford anything from them atm, because I'm 15, and burned my Christmas money on my subwoofer. I have a few items that I'm thinking about, and I'm going to Fry's tomorrow to help my mom get an external hard drive, so I'm going to look at what they have there and do some listening.
