Center channel question

apologies as I didn’t see a center channel thread or forums.

I’m a noob to the site, I just upgraded my definitive C-1 center to a CLR-2000.

I also have a pro center 1000 and wondered if it is better than the c-1.... This would be for my second room aka video game and kids tv room.

Center speakers belong in a set with the left and right fronts. If the center speaker differs drastically with the left and right, than the sound can be a bit weird no matter how good the center speaker is. If I were you, I would be looking at how appropriate the center speaker is for that particular setup rather than how good it is vs another center speaker.

Good point, the second room is significantly smaller, I did switch them to test but I think the procenter 1000 fits better sound and size wise in there

Oh the fronts are BPx but I am going to repurpose them in my main room as side surrounds hanging on the walls. I have promonitor 1000s for the procenter setup I am going to use instead
