Center channel outputing through sub-woofer

My AVR is a HK AVR3600. I was watching cable tv yesterday, switched channels and all the sudden dialog went from center channel to my sub. After that it didn't matter what channel all dialog was coming out of the sub.

I bounced the receiver and it corrected but definitely 'weird'.

Any thoughts?

Software just sometimes has a mind of its own.

That is wire fly by wire accelerators and steering will always make me a little nervous.
