Can you all recommend a center channel that I could find in a local store, ie JBL, Polk etc.. in the price range of 150-250?

The current front speakers are polk monitor 30's, and the rears are goodwill rca things.

Thanks,
Skymeat

I would go check out BB if you have one in your area....

I would try to find a center that matches your left and right mains. In your case, a Polk from the same series. If the center matches the mains, the dialogue and any pans across the front speakers should sound the most natural.

You might want to look at the Polk Audio Monitor Series CS1 Center Channel Speaker - it should blend with your R&L fronts nicely and is available for about $80 at Amazon and elsewhere on the net - not sure about local availability in your area but why go to a brick and mortar store when you can buy online and save $$$?.

Thanks for the replies.

I just got back from a local AV store and ended up with the CS1 (69.99). Sounds great and matches the others.
