As expected, some of you have totally hijacked this thread and are trying to change the topic from the original point made
The point being..... how stupid must Diaz be....... to 'knowingly' make such a fashion statement in Peru considering the recent communist bloodshed in that country? To her credit.... if anything, she probably wasn't aware of the recent communist coup attempt.
About her fashion statement?? It was no accident...... Communist fashion statements can be seen everywhere in liberal elite circles and they have become very popular. (hats, handbags, clothing) All you have to do is look, and yes... they understand the symbolism.... that's the whole point!! Do you guys know what I'm talking about when I say "lib elites"?? I'm not talking about your garden variety democrats.
I recently watched this TV special on Discovery-HD
http://dhd.discovery.com/fansites/piven/piven.html
Throughout much of this special, Piven is seen wearing various forms of a communist cap with a pretty star on the front
Sightings are everywhere.... whether it be Diaz's Peruvian fashion blunder, or this dork entertainment correspondent seen on Access Hollywood.

Since 1917, communist regimes have sent more than 100 million victims to their graves, so whats so "chic" about making communist fashion statements? This is a popular trend,...... not an accidental oversight!! The glamorization of communism is quite widespread, and the signs are EVERYWHERE.....examples are endless. If some are in denial and think she had no idea about the symbolic nature of her bag..... then so be it. Yea... maybe you're right......I'm sure she had no idea she was carrying a Maoist communist handbag
The real question is......... Where is the outrage?
