ceiling mount recommendations?

Any input on where to get ceiling mounts for a decent price is appreciated.

Speakers are about 7-8lbs...I already have heard about omnimount but they seems to be on the expensive side.

I saw a couple types of metal mounts from Home Theater Direct (HTD.com) for $15-20 a pair. They hold up to 20 lbs. and might work for your application.

The HTD mounts are nice. Even the small ones will support the small speakers you are describing. I would just check with them as the the spacing on the holes to see if they will connect with your speakers. You'd want to avoid drilling into a speaker if you can. The small mounts they see come with wall and ceiling brackets and work with a ball and socket for adjustment. I like them and they seem sturdy.

SANUS mounts ...are good.....unobtrusive and inexpensive. A web search and you can by them online mostly anywhere...
